OFFSETTING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

We recognize the urgent need to address climate change and reduce our carbon footprint. With the average carbon footprint in the U.S. reaching 16 tons per person per year and Thailand at 4 tons per person, we understand the importance of taking action. To prevent a 2ºC rise in global temperatures, the average global carbon footprint per person must drop to under 2 tons by 2050. While transitioning from 16 tons to 2 tons is a significant challenge, we believe that by making small changes to our daily actions, we can make a difference. At Chanintr x Co, we are committed to being that difference and striving towards a sustainable future for all.

1 TREE FOR 1 PURCHASE

We are proud to be part of CHANINTR's Green Initiative, a partnership that allows us to offset our carbon footprint through their impactful 1 Tree for 1 Purchase initiative. Collaborating with Plant for the Planet, CHANINTR has successfully realized its mission of planting one tree for every item sold. In 2020, our company sold 50,000 items and during the planting season of 2021, we planted 50,000 trees in Mae Hong Son, a northern district in Thailand. In 2022, we planted another 40,000 trees in Krabi province in the south of Thailand, The total number of trees planted so far exceeds 90,000.
